But we do have one problem with the room. Since our house was built in the 70's, we have "sunken" living rooms with a step down that has already caused our guests to stumble! :O Therefore, our room would truly be made complete with the "tea room floral teapot night light" in order to light the way for us and our guests en-route to the kitchen! And the beautiful floral pattern would add another touch of whimsy to the room which we have carefully pieced together.
Congratulations, Bethany! You are our 2nd place winner. Bethany said:
This picture is of my 2 year old's big-girl bedroom. It's one of my favorite spaces, as it is hers, to sit and read, lay on the bed and cuddle, and of course rock together. Her dresser is my old dresser that I distressed, as is her bedframe. My grandmother taught me how to sew yo-yos, which are lovingly framed on the wall. My daughter, my grandmother and I all share a common middle name. The space is sweet..just like the little girl that spends her days there.
I would love to change some of the art on the wall, and I adore all the prints by Simply Hue. Particularly the "over the rainbow" print.

Congratulations Bonnie! You are our 3rd place winner. Bonnie said:
My favorite place in my home is my bedroom. It is tranquil and quiet and the only place I know I am assured of rest and peace! I love sleeping, cuddling under the duvet at the end of a long day seeing to the kids needs.I love my chair in the sun, where I can drink a cup of tea and read a book or a magazine. I love sitting and looking out at the garden and writing in my journal. It is my little "haven"everyone needs a place like that!
I choose the "typing our love story typewriter card stand" for my space. Why? Because I am vintage-crazed. I love all things soft, nostalgic, reminiscent of days gone by, but with a bit of fun and whimsy thrown in for good measure!
