My grandfather was a World War II veteran, a patented chemist, and a wonderful man and father. When he passed away, his journals from his childhood were given to me. Best birthday present.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 207 of 207The best gift I ever received was for Christmas this past year.. It was the Amazon Kindle. My boyfriend gave it to me. I was completely shocked. I love to read, and it just tickled my little soul to have one!
This mothers day we gave my boyfriends mom a new MacBook. She was so surprised and loved it!
My birthday was just on July 1... and I got some pretty stellar gifts! I got a new camera, a pretty dress, some books... and my favourite, a huge giant super soaker! I'm very excited to have some water fights this summer... and win with this bad boy!
The best gift I ever gave was a puppy to my husband. He was not expecting it!
My ex simply handed me a card with 2 twenties that had written on the inside 'here is 40 dollars'. I laughed so hard I fell off the picnic bench I was sitting on. Definitely the best gift just for the giggles.
^_^ Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday, Ruche! A few years back when I was a poor student, my bf and I went to a huge weekly antique market in our city to find Christmas gifts for family. While there I fell in love with an antique enamel and bronze necklace but couldn't afford to buy it. Unbeknownst to me, my bf went back to the vendor later and bought it for me. It was a huge, sweet surprise when I opened up a package on Christmas morning to find the necklace! I still wear it all the time.
