I love Train Stop 35! And I'd wear it to Barcelona, Spain. Walking around the architectural sights of Gaudi, down the vibrant and energetic Las ramblas, down to a beachside bistro where I would have fresh paella and a crisp, cool white wine. Then, I'd ditch the sweater and go dancing into the night with my Husband!

I would wear train stop 34 on a lovely autumn day, walking the streets of Utrecht with my best friend. The garnet shade of the jacket reminds me of the burnt orange to red gradation of the fallen leaves that would crinkle under my feet. I could not think of more perfect shoes to walk around Holland in, especially on a crisp autumn day.

My favorite train stop is Train Stop #8. I would wear it on the train up to the gorgeous city of Halifax. I visited it for the first time recently and I'm already longing to go back. As the leaves change to burning fall colors and the cool air blows in over the ocean, I'd be snug in my grey cardigan and perfectly matched with the treetops in my beautiful mustard tights!

A little vintage rose said...

I LoveLoveLove Train Stop 8 & 9...something about a blush colored dress and mustard yellow tights {one of my all time fav. colors} or purple jewels tones like the dress in train stop 9 and a simple blush scarf. Nothing screams fall like jewel tones and mustard yellow. I would go on a romantic weekend getaway with my husband via rail though Appalachian Mountains.

I would be traveling east to New York City, NY to catch a airplane to tour Europe. This lovely outfit will have me the talk of the town in Paris, Rome, Milan, Berlin or anywhere I stop. People would be asking themselves what Hollywood movie did I step out of and is Clark Gable or Bette Davis with me.

The yellow dress is to die for and so is the little jacket. I fell in love with them both on Facebook, just dreamy!

I'd wear Train Stop no12 for a day spent sketching in one of the main sculpture galleries of the Louvre in Paris. I went this summer on a study abroad trip but we only had a few hours in the Louvre, so there wasn't enough time to sketch. But this one room was incredible.. huge, light, airy and open, and full of the most incredible sculpture you can imagine. The atmosphere was so enchanting. I was with friends and we had decided to see 18th century french painting, so I only had a few brief moments in that gallery, but the image and memory of that place is so vivid for me. I'll be going back, for sure = ).

I can just picture walking down the streets of Paris in the crisp fall air. I can almost feel the cool breeze and smell the freshly baked bread wafting out of the bakeries. I can see the golden afternoon sun dipping behind the picturesque buildings. All I need now is my camera, a plane ticket, and Train Stop outfit 19 to stroll the streets.

Train Stop 24

Dear Diary,

October is here, and the damp coolness of autumn tries to seep through my shawl, so I pin it tighter, closing it against the chill breath of morning.
Paris is beautiful at this time of year, and the elegance of this great city is echoed here in the train station as well.

I will not be staying, though.

He is waiting for me in Prague, at that little cafe in the Old Quarter where the dreams and whispers of artists still echo a century after their departure.
He waits for me there, pen in hand, carafe at the ready... and my train approaches.

Train Stop 11!! I would wear this on a train adventure across the United States from East to West. This would be my outfit to wear as I just hit the Rocky Mountains. The colors would pop against my surroundings -- the ashy granite rocks, rusty colored sandstone, hints of snow along the mountain tops. The layering is perfect for keeping me warm amongst the breezes of Wyoming and Colorado!

I choose train stop #1-- my first stop would be to New York City before flying overseas and pulling out a few of the breezier looks for Europe. But train stop #1 has a bit of that New York edge: the houndstooth skirt and the cropped jacket are classic NYC black, but the red wine-colored tights and mustard blouse give it just the pop of color you need to stand out while still keeping warm. It's classy yet casual; cute yet comfy. And, as is necessary in the city of lights, entirely stylish.

train stop 7 has left me reveling in the possibility that I realistically could go to a Spanish train stop in this outfit! my husband-to-be and I will be taking our honeymoon in Spain over Christmas. the day before Christmas, we'll be taking the train from Seville to Madrid. it will be a bit chilly, but I still want to look beautiful for my love, so that plaid coat would be perfect!

I would wear Train Stop 22 to Snowden, Wales. A small little mountain town in a beautiful and underrated UK country is perfect for the cool and muted tones of the cardigan. The length of the skirt and the inclusion of the scarf also make it warm enough to wear when checking out small town shops and pubs without having my body get as cold as my pint. A beautiful outfit I could wear that would be as subtle and interesting as it's backdrop.

If for some reason he finds away to get to me, I know I'll be feeling so good in my new outfit that I can accomplish anything (incuding kicking major conductor butt). When I'm done I'll strut the streets like the fashionista that i am.

The red wine colored tights and ruffle knit cardigan should keep me warm in the chilly November weather. My favorite Train Stop outfit is #13.
I would go back to 1942 Morocco and visit "Rick's Cafe Americain" from the movie "Casablanca" in this outfit. The style of Train Stop 13 reminds me very much of a modern take of Ingrid Bergman's character Llsa Lund, especially with that beautiful floppy hat. I'm more of an old Hollywood type of person and this whole collection reminds me of that era. Also with the theme train stop I would love to be in an exotic local. This outfit to me just read Casablanca.

Wearing the gorgeous outfit in Train Stop 29 (with the accessories from 30 and a red flower pin that I will make for my hair), I will travel to Mexico City to visit the Museo Frida Kahla (La Casa Azul) where I will admire and be inspired by Frida's art, photographs, books, letters, personal mementos, and collections of butterflies, feathers, clothing and jewelry. I am a physical therapist so I am also interested in learning more about her personal experience as a polio survivor and a survivor of a traumatic vehicle accident (which resulted in multiple fractures and a spinal injury) along with the modifications she made to her clothing and shoes to adapt to her physical impairments. Frida managed her pain and anguish by creating art and beauty. She would have choosen the clothing and jewelry combination in Train Stop 29 to add to her own collection. Her bright and unique clothing combinations remind us that creative fashion can make us all beautiful and full of life.

As I sit and wait, my eyes meet with the shocking blue eyes of the dark-haired man across the platform. He smiles..I smile back. The train whistle cuts through the magic of the moment and I am forced to walk aboard the train. I linger on the step of the train for one last look, and taking my seat, I pull out of the station dreaming of that last glance. *sigh* That is my dream.

Have boots, will travel! Train stop #9 would be my pick. So many versatile pieces would make for a perfect mix-and-match packed suitcase. With all the accessories to boot! I'd head to New York City, do some shopping in Chelsea, some strolling in Central Park, catch a concert and buy my kids a souvenir or two at FAO Schwartz!

Train stop 29 =) this hot yellow dress with ruffles makes me want to travel to Texas with my sexy forest green mary janes to get me through the dry dirt atmosphere-and in my hand next to my very fitting chain bracelet would be my drivers, dive-ins and dives book so I could stop at each delicious BBQ place in Texas!

Wanderlust is my middle name! I love this collection! Train stop 5 reminds me of the Republica de la Boca area of Buenos Aires, Argentina. That's the one I'd choose and that's where I'd go in it. The colours are vibrant, they pop and by all logic, shouldn't go together, but instead make total sense... Just like everything surrounding you in La Boca!

North by Northwest has always intrigued me for all the right reasons: who wouldn’t want to be the chicly-dressed heroine who charms a suave Cary Grant while enjoying a trek from New York City to the West with all the typical Hitchcock sites of crooks, criminals, and crop-dusting crazies? This classic suspense-thriller in disguise as a travel film (or maybe it’s the other way around?) indulges the romantic and the recklessly-adventurous. Of course, any outfit suitable for the chase after love and lunatics requires both a stylish and practical ensemble.

Enter Train Stop 32’s ensemble: a pleasantly-surprising mix of colors and textures, not to mention polished-looking shoes that, upon closer inspection, have a solid heel able to sustain any chase-scenes or running-from-the-law that may ensue. The visually-pleasing layers of this outfit mean that getting comfortable and staying stunning in various climates is a piece of cake. The floral accessories add a bit of spring to the otherwise-winterish collar and fabric of the tweed dress, thus ensuring an all-seasons go-to travel wardrobe. And that convertible shoulder purse may seem a common travel-sized bag, but it’s the perfect accessory for toting around anything a girl may need in case a crisis ensues. Or for lugging along a few crime novels, in case one doesn’t.

Perhaps a cross-country train trip isn’t going to necessarily bring me up close and personal with a Cary Grant type, but who’s to say that I can’t indulge my own self-love and confidence in looking refined and fashionable in these pieces by Ruche?

I am so hoping to actually wear Train Stop Outfit #11 to my families Thanksgiving weekend trip that my dad is planning and is super excited about. Half of our family lives in Phoenix, AZ and the other half lives in Seattle, WA (where I live) So my dad, mom, little sister and I will be taking the train from Seattle to Portland, I think this outfit would be absolutely perfect for that ride, the Calistoga floral trench coat would be a great piece to shield me from the rain, even though it doesn't even look like a trench coat it just looks like a sweetly designed dress. Brookdale boots in tan will also keep my little feet-sees dry and stylish. The extra layers from the Darley knitted trapeze vest and Blaire colored tights in olive will keep me nice and warm from the new fall weather that has hit the Northwest. Of course you can't take a train ride without bringing along a magazine or book, which is conveniently on my iPad which will be nice and safe in the Carraway tassel purse by Melie Bianco. But these are not the reason why I love this outfit so much, no the real reason is the genius display of the beautiful array of fall colors displayed in the fabrics, and I do love colors. Well this outfit will definitely help me for the train ride to Portland, but our journey won't end there, in Portland we will meet up with my older brother and sister who I don't get to see that often and head over to Mt. Hood where we will spend an entire weekend having fun playing in the snow and either snowboarding or skiing I’m not sure which one yet because I've never done either. But no matter what I am super excited about this trip for many reasons, 1. I have never taken a train ride anywhere and have always wanted to; 2. Super excited to see my brother and sister, did I mention that they have kids, my only niece and two nephews who I love with all my heart; 3. I'm going to snowboard or ski for the first time. There are just so many things to look forward to, and I am going to catch it all on my camera, which can fit into the Carraway tassel purse by Melie Bianco so perfectly.

My favorite Train Stop outfit is outfit number 34. I would wear it to the historic French Quarter of New Orleans. You would find me walking along the cobblestone streets on a nippy fall day, my eye-catching red coat standing out against the haze in the air. Happening upon a bakery, I would stop for a French macaroon and savor every nibble of the renowned treat. It would be a lovely day in a lovely place, wearing an even lovelier outfit.

Outfit 25 would be perfect for the trip of my dreams which would be a tour of Russia. From the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg to Moscow. I'd love to take in the Red Square, the brightly-coloured St. Basil's Cathedral and the Kremlin Walls.

Such a gorgeous and classical vacation demands an outfit to compliment the journey.

I can't tear my eyes away from Train Stop 29, and I can't help but imagine myself wearing it on my upcoming study abroad semester in Lancaster, England. The forest green wedges would be equally perfect for walking around the university campus between classes and through Williamson Park, especially paired with the daffodil yellow dress for the first day of spring. I would layer the grey velvet cardigan over the top to ward off any chill English breezes, and hopefully give everyone the impression that the American girl knows how to study in style.

My pick would be Train Stop 13, and I would wear this to my upcoming Vegas trip this December. The gorgeous Cambria Stella Knit Sweater will keep me warm and looking chic while on the plane (or the train!). Then, once I'm in the casinos/clubs, I can take off the sweater and be instantly ready for a night of dancing!

If I had to choose only one of the looks, I would have to go with Train Stop 5. The shoes, tights, skirt, and blouse are beautiful rich colors looked as if they were picked right out of a jewelry box. Combined with the cozy grey sweater, the outfit is both classy and comfortable.

I would put on this ensemble, grab one of my favorite books, a sketch pad, and a pencil and hop on a train with an open mind. I want to get on a train that will take me to a surprise destination. A place of discovery and new beginnings. An adventure.

If I could I would choose Wanderlust Train Stop Outfit 11 and would take it to Moscow.

I really love the flower print combined with the yellow shopping bag and the rust-colored loop scarf. It's just perfect for cold weather (maybe with a nice coat) without being too dark and boring.

And besides that I always wanted to go to that great city of Moscow because I kind of think that Russian Ladies are really inspiring.

I would definitely wear Train Stop 25! I would wear all of the outfits in the lookbook if I could afford it, but #25 caught my attention as it fits my wardrobe perfectly. I'd probably wear this outfit more than once in a given week, and to more than outing. I just love the colors! And the material seem so soft and huggable. I would wear this outfit while walking to the park with my children. I would wear it teaching my students. I would wear it on a day date/trip with my husband. I would wear this outfit to Christmas shopping at Nuremberg. Walking the old roman pathways in Trier, and I would definitely wear this outfit during Christmas mass in church. Walking down Venice, eating gelato. Oh the possibilities. There is something so soft and delicate about this outfit, that there would be no limit to how often I would wear this.

The train rolls to a slow stop at No. 22. My stomach is in knots, but I'm so excited to step off onto the platform. With this first step, I finally get my first real site of my new new home for the next few months: Cobh, Ireland. I've wanted to study abroad my entire life, and when the opportunity arose to study in Cork on the cheap, I jumped at it with fervor. The city was a little expensive to stay in, but I managed to find a wonderful lady who rents out rooms in the smaller town of Cobh, on the outskirts. Cobh suited me better anyway, right on the shore.

Among things I notice, first, is that even in the fall, my emerald green cardigan matches the greenery around me. They don't call it the Emerald Isle for nothing, I can tell already.

Second, the sea air smells amazing, but is brisk. I'm so glad for my tartan skirt. It's not too heavy to move in, but wonderfully warm.

The last thing I notice is the smile of the handsome Irish lad walking my way. He offers to help me carry my things to my boarding house, which isn't too far a walk away. He says he stays there too, and was sent to fetch me. I'm so glad I have comfortable wedges on my feet: I can already tell this short walk is going to turn into quite a long one. :)

I love everything about No. 22. It calls for a brand new autumn adventure.

Autumn is my favourite season and I love all the colours, but here in Estonia the most colourful time is already passing... so if I'd get to go whereever I want, I'd go to North America, to the place where the leaves are the most colourful right now. And I'd wear the Train Stop 22 outfit. It's simply beautiful. Girly, yet cozy; autumn-ish, but still kinda summery...And the colour combination is amazing. Oh, and since tomorrow is my sweet sixteen, I'd also take all my friends with me and celebrate it with a picnic on the bright fallen leaves... :)

How can I just pick one?? I love 8, 11, 19, and 20...
If I had to chose, I think I would go with 8.. I love the blush color of the dress paired with the mustard tights and dark grey cardigan. It speaks feminine and fall. Where would I go? I want to say Brooklyn, New York because I just recently moved and I miss it terribly, but I would love to wear this to a vineyard in Spain, or walking down the streets of Oslo. Can we pick more than one stop?

Train stop 3. Simply Elegant and supperbly stylish. But not over-the-top in either department. I would wear this lovely outfit, sitting next to my husband, on a romantic train journey from the heart of Paris to the French countryside, all the way to the South Of France. He would shyly put his hand on my knee and I would blush *as I still do after 13 years of marriage* and dip my head to that my little pink hat covered my eyes rather demurely like! Those gorgeous poetic licence heels would do rather grandly too and be so very chic. Ah yes...I can see the translucent light filtering down onto the platform, as we boarded the train and I can hear the "Bonjour Madame" as we find our seats. The neese embellished bangles would clang together as I reach up to adjust my magenta hat and smile sweetly at my man...

Something about train stop 13 says pacific northwest to me. Perhaps a trip to Seattle where I can stroll through pike place market and stop at the crumpet shop for tea and crumpets drenched in honey. Then, I could find the perfect coffee shop to curl up with my favorite book, undoubtedly with rain against the windows. The elegance of the lace paired with the cozy sweater (and probably add some tights under those shorts for Seattle ;)) provides the perfect mix for Seattle chic.

Train Stop #13 definitely caught my eye. I view the #13 much differently than most people, as I recognize that it is anything but unlucky. In fact, Friday the 13th is considered a day of change, like when my son was born (he's a Friday the 13th baby).

I now have two kids that keep me youthful. I can't imagine traveling without them. In this fun, playful (yet still sophisticated outfit), I can take them on a trip to a "Neverland" of sorts, showing them the sites that I like.

My version would include a stop at Disney World for some traditional kid-friendly activities, but I'd also enjoy exploring the rest of the world, as well. We'd have no responsibilities, just spending time together.

I love how Shop Ruche makes old styles new and fresh again, while wanderlust fulfills our desire to discover. Thanks for coming up with this inspiring giveaway.
